Building a hyperloop-like train with a speed of 1200 km/h in Canada
Canada is trying to build a Hyperloop-like train with a speed of 1,200 km/h and faster than a jet, which moves in a Hyperloop-style vacuum tube.
According to Canadian media, this train travels from Calgary to Edmonton in 45 minutes.
The TransPod FluxJet design unveiled in Toronto last week was more than just a train.
The train features a very high-speed ground transportation system that promises “groundbreaking innovations,” compatible with clean energy, and featuring “technological leaps in power transmission.”
This project is an old idea that has been around since pneumatic tube message delivery systems were new in the 1800s.
In this method, air resistance is minimized by creating a gap in the vacuum. And then it accommodates passengers and goods at a very high speed and of course the heat control system.
This train, like Hyperloop, Hyperloop TT, Hyperloop One, ET3, Hyperport and many other designs we have seen, uses magnetic levitation technology to eliminate surface resistance.
With the difference that this train is activated when it leaves the city and is ready to reach maximum speed.
The train is equipped to accelerate to a cruising speed of around 1,000 km/h (621 mph) before reaching a minimum speed of 300 km/h (186 mph) – or an equivalent top speed. .
The manufacturer of this train has not released much information about it. However, Veillance Flux technology, which is related to a visual positioning system, is expected in this train; used a system that scans the space in front of the train and then adjusts the position of the compartment according to it.
In this system, each compartment of 25 meters (82 feet) can have a capacity of up to 54 passengers.
So far, 550 million dollars have been invested in this project and a 300 km long tunnel is being built between Calgary and Edmonton.
The construction of this tunnel is estimated at 18 billion dollars and apparently, at the end of the work, passengers will be able to travel this distance in 45 minutes by paying 75 dollars.
The price of the plane ticket for this route is 125 dollars.
